Beef is Duel’s take on the cross-the-road genre that Chicken and Mission Uncrossable made popular. You guide a cow across lanes. Every lane you survive bumps the multiplier. Get hit and the round is over. Cash out whenever you like.
It is a Duel Original, provably fair like the others, and it now sits under Zero Edge: 100% RTP inside your daily allowance ($50,000 in wagers, $1,000 max bet). Once the allowance is used up, Beef switches to a flat 0.8% house edge (99.2% RTP) until the daily reset, which is higher than most other Originals.
How a round works
- Set your bet.
- Pick a difficulty. Easy, Medium, Hard or Extreme. Higher difficulty means a bigger chance of getting hit per lane and a steeper multiplier curve.
- Advance lane by lane. Each safe step raises the multiplier.
- Cash out before you get hit, and you are paid your bet times the current multiplier.
Auto mode lets you set how many lanes to attempt, how many rounds to run, what to do on a win or loss, and hard stop-on-profit and stop-on-loss limits. Automation does not change the odds. It just stops you changing your mind mid-session.
What it costs you
Inside the allowance, nothing on average: 0% edge, like Duel’s other Originals. After the allowance, Beef charges a flat 0.8%, more than most Originals (Dice and Mines scale from 0.1%). In dollars: $10,000 of Beef wagers past the allowance costs about $80 on average. Duel’s 50% rakeback does not apply to Originals.
Why play it then? The ceiling. Beef’s maximum multiplier is listed at 183,278x, far beyond anything else in Duel’s Originals. That kind of top end only comes with steep risk and long, brutal runs of losses between hits.

- Small slices. Split your balance into at least 100 bets. Beef will test that.
- Exit rule first. Decide your cash-out lane before you click. Greed is the whole game.
- Use the stops. In auto mode, always set stop-on-loss. Stop-on-profit too, if you want to keep any.
- Extreme is a lottery ticket. One or two lanes, tiny stake, or not at all.
