Poker at Duel: Casino Poker, a Heads-Up Arena, and No Poker Room

What it does have is three different kinds of poker, and they work nothing alike:

• House-banked casino poker from Evolution. You play the dealer, not other people.
• Arena Poker, head-to-head against another player in Duel’s Arena.

Duel does not run a poker room. There are no cash games against other players, no sit-and-gos, no multi-table tournaments, no rake, no lobby full of regulars. If that is what you came for, this is the wrong casino and we would rather say so on this page than after your deposit clears.

What Duel runs is house-banked casino poker, poker-shaped games where you play the dealer, not the table. As of August 2026 that is six titles, all from Evolution:

This is the part that decides whether you should play these at all.

Every game listed above is a third-party live or RNG title. That means Duel’s Zero Edge allowance does not cover them. No 100% RTP, no 0% house edge. They carry whatever edge Evolution built in, exactly as they would on any other site.

The game Duel wants you playing instead

If you want poker hands at genuinely zero edge, the answer is not on this page. Duel builds its own Originals, and inside the daily Zero Edge allowance they run at 100% RTP, a real 0% house edge, capped at $50,000 of wagers a day and $1,000 a bet, a small scaling edge past it.

Card players usually end up at Duel Blackjack for the same reason: it is the one card game on the site where the edge actually goes to zero, provided you play perfect basic strategy. Deviate and you hand the edge back. That is the trade.

Strategy carries over, bankroll does not

House-banked poker rewards discipline the same way a poker room does, fold the marginal hands, take the side bets seriously enough to work out what they cost, and stop treating a progressive jackpot as a reason to play. But the variance profile is completely different. There is no edge over weaker opponents to grind, because there are no opponents. Your result is the paytable and nothing else.

Worth correcting a natural assumption: not every poker-shaped game at Duel is third-party.

Video Poker is a Duel Original, built in-house and listed in the Originals menu alongside Dice and Crash. That means it is provably fair, verifiable with a server seed, your client seed and a nonce, and it is covered by the Zero Edge allowance. Inside the daily allowance it runs at 100% RTP.

Do not confuse it with First Person Video Poker in the casino lobby. That one is an Evolution title, carries Evolution’s house edge, and Zero Edge does not touch it. Same category, same name, completely different economics, and the lobby does not make the distinction obvious.
