How to Sign Up at Duel: 30 Seconds, and the Two Things to Do Right After

1. Go to duel.com. It runs in the browser on desktop and mobile. Nothing to install.
2. Hit Register in the top-right corner.
3. Pick a username. It is public and shows on the leaderboards. Your legal name is not asked for.
4. Set a strong, unique password. This account will hold crypto, and crypto has no chargeback department. Use a password manager.
5. Add an email. Optional, but without one there is no self-service password reset. Do not skip it.
6. Accept the terms. Actually read two parts: the restricted countries list and the verification policy.
7. Create the account. That is it.
